I am an artist.

 

My collections of work include pieces focusing on Mental, Cultural, Social and Environmental concepts. I also create art by commission.

I work with a variety of materials including acrylic paint, ceramics, fabric, coffee, ink, soil, sand...Acrylic paint is my preferred media and I will then combine and collage other materials into the piece.  I am researching Eco friendly sustainable paints currently and aim to switch to a more environmentally friendly approach.

To show a conscious relationship between my work and themes I often experiment using natural materials. Using the idea of fluidity and abstraction, I aim to take a non-representational approach of portraying these concepts; encouraging the observer to deduce their own opinion of the pieces and hopefully allowing a deeper more personal understanding with my art. 

 

I would like my pieces to influence the people who see it. Encouraging reflection about the affect of our actions.
