Prakriti's Breath is a commission piece.

Through abstraction I aimed to show the relationship between family, culture and balance. Prakriti is linked to the Goddess Lakshmi who represents, wealth, purity, kindness, luck, protection and is associated with a peacock. Prakriti means 'something that creates and is active.' I wanted to draw attention to the different aspects of the client and the work through the use of symbolic imagery; the Bajan and Jamaican heritage shown through parts of their flags showing, the Yin and Yang symbol of balance and peace inside a feather resembling a peacock feather. I wanted to project prosperity through this piece.
